Our Salon

We are located between Lichfield and Tamworth not too far Hopwas Woods. We operate on a 1 to 1 basis with the dogs that visit us for grooming. Our salon philosophy is that we should treat people as you expect to be treated yourself. We believe if you act with integrity, fairness and loyalty and are reliable and are consistent in these traits we will be a happier people. So this is the approach we take with all of our clients and their pets. It doesn't cost to be nice or to treat people and animals with respect. We offer numerous services in our salon and the list on this page is not the be-all and end-all of what we do. We take our time to discuss what our clients want and expect of us and give the dog an enjoyable experience!

Puppy Visits

Your puppy’s first experience to the groomers is very important to how it will perceive all subsequent visits. We have a gentle & ‘On their terms’ approach to this so hopefully, they will enjoy the grooming salon. You are welcome to call us for further information. This is a FREE service.

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

Ultrasound cleaning is a new dog tooth cleaning technology, a state-of-the-art oral hygiene technology that performs better than manual and electric toothbrushes. It removes tartar and stains, freshens the breath and kills bacteria with no harmful side effects.

We are a small team that know how great dogs are!!!

In 2014 I was awarded the City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming at a grade of Distinction which is one the highest recognised qualifications available to dog groomers in the UK. I host and attend seminars, workshops and grooming competitions to further my knowledge and skill. I have two Airedale Terriers and a Lakeland Terrier at home. It was my Airedale, Rufus, that gave me the grooming bug; I only wish I'd started sooner. I am an authorised microchip implanter for Petlog by The Kennel Club and hold a current certificate in Pet First Aid. Away from the salon I have an interest in American Football. Coaching at Tamworth Phoenix and following the Minnesota Vikings.

I have been grooming for nearly 4 years now and really enjoy it. I've always loved dogs and to work with them every day is purely the best job! I have completed a level 2 and level 3 animal care/management course at college, and currently doing a dog grooming CDP course to expand my knowledge and to progress with grooming. I have my own Cavapoo, called Toby, who I love to be around and to take on different walks. I also have two budgies, that have lived with us for about 4 years.

I have always appreciated nature & animals. Growing up with dogs at home I came to understand their characters, needs and desires which lead me to their care. In 2018 I trained at Vita Canis and completed my City & Guilds Technical Competence in Dog Walking and subsequently animal first aid certification. Away from dogs, I enjoy music production, philosophy and yoga.
